Erin’s lives with her husband and their four children, plus three cats, one dog, two hens and three horses. So you might say it’s a bit of a full house, and room by room, it’s getting a makeover.
Erin’s family living room is the stuff of dreams. Triple-aspect, looking out onto the most perfect of rural settings. The previous owners used it as a dining room and toy room, but Erin felt it had a better purpose as an extra living space.
“First of all, I bought the sofas – big enough for all six of us to relax on together!” says Erin. “I chose the colour scheme by drawing on feng shui ideas, and picking my favourite lookson Pinterest.
“Then, I chose ochre curtains for the patio doors and painted the walls a pale grey. Lots of the accessories I chose were yellow and grey, so I was looking for blinds which would complement this scheme.
