Joy opted for understated blinds to complement her rural themed kitchen…
“As we have green chairs and copper accents in the kitchen, we wanted to keep the blinds fairly neutral,” says Joy. “The subtle two-tone cream stripe is perfect and we loved it so much we ordered the same blind for our craft room! Our new blinds have really brightened up our home!”
Both Joy and her partner loved the simplistic design and elegant colours so much, they decided to choose a similar style for their master bedroom. But this time they chose a blackout fabric.
“We opted for a blackout fabric to provide a bit of extra insulation in the winter, as well as the more obvious benefit of blocking the light. I love the look of white furniture as it makes the room feel so much bigger and has a lovely fresh and clean quality.
“We originally purchased some off-the-shelf Roller blinds that the shop assistant assured us were easy to cut to size – that’s assuming you want to saw through metal! I promptly returned them!”
