First-time buyer Sophie Spittle was struggling to find the perfect way to dress the large window in the front room of her new home.
In fact, she had spent six months searching for the ideal solution to her problem.
But when no answer appeared, Sophie turned to a fountain of knowledge for advice.
“My mum suggested that I try Web-Blinds,” says Sophie, who lives with her fiancé Steve in Haverhill. “I’d tried many other companies, but had always found their ranges uninspiring.
“So I visited Web-Blinds.com for ideas. The site is really easy to use. Browsing the various styles and designs was fun and there are plenty of made-to-measure blinds to pick from.
“I settled on a Wooden blind. The design can be fully opened, totally closed, or just the louvres can be adjusted. This lets sunlight in without losing a sense of privacy.
“To be 100% sure, I ordered a selection of samples. The colours and finishes were exactly the same as I’d viewed online. After seeing the different styles in my home, I decided to go for a white Wooden blind”
As well as white Wooden blinds, the Web-Blinds range features natural wood-grain and painted finishes. The collection also includes fauxwood designs that are water repellent and won’t warp in humid kitchens or bathrooms.
Customers can also tailor their Wooden blinds by choosing from a selection of options. These include slat width and decorative tape, which creates a shutter-style effect.
For customers, such as Sophie, measuring a window for a blind can be daunting. But fortunately, Web-Blinds provides easy-to-use video and written guides online.
“I didn’t have a clue about how to measure my window,” says Sophie. “And I didn’t know the difference between taking exact and recess measurements. The guides on Web-Blinds are simple and make everything clear.”
She adds: “After placing the order, my new blind was delivered on time. Steve, with a little help from my dad, fitted the product easily.
“I’m so happy with how it looks and I’d definitely recommend Web-Blinds to my friends and family.”
