Dining rooms are brilliant places to unwind and enjoy a spot of food while you’re at it. So it’s obvious we want to make them as homely as poss. Take a look at these different ideas.

If you’re overlooked, then sheer blinds are the way to go. We’ve opted for Verticals here to show you how you can still make a feature of patio doors, while keeping peeping eyes out. They’re a great choice for front-facing bay windows too.
Shut the world out
Shutters are a fab way to make your home feel beautiful. We’ve chosen a dark wood stain from our New Hampshire range for this dining room, to give the whole place the feel of a tropical retreat. A splash of purple on the chimney breast keeps things unexpected.
Don’t be afraid to make it fun
Sometimes, we get so caught up making our homes look perfect, we forget to have a little bit of fun. Colourful patterns aren’t just for the kids’ rooms – the grown-ups need colour in their life too!
