How to – use florals in your home

Florals are firm favs, and at this time of year they’re even popping up in the garden. Take a look at our guide on different ways to use the floral trend in your home.

A splash of colour never hurt anyone, so if you’re looking to make a statement we couldn’t recommend our Budding Blossom Orange Roller blind more. A blind is a great place to introduce a touch of colour too, as it’s unlikely to become too much. Here, this blind works beautifully with pared down grey and white tiles.

Florals don’t have to be fussy, so forget chintz if you’re looking for a modern feel. Graphic prints work so well – just like in customer Emma’s home with this Mexican Chilli Roller blind. The monochrome kitchen backdrop works a treat for really making this blind sing. Add pops of red elsewhere in the room and you’re well away!

Customer Sally used a floral Roman blind to soften the look of Wooden blinds in her hallway and landing. Fitting one blind outside of the recess allowed her to do this – it’s a great idea for combining privacy and a blackout fabric for a bedroom too. And of course, that pretty floral design lights up the whole space.

Monochrome is one look that will simply never go out of style. Teresa used our Minstrel White Vertical blinds to give her kitchen a floral flavour, without going over the top. The louvres make for a practical solution for a sunny space.

Our Country Retreat range is full of fabrics that look like a work of art in their own right. And this Wild Poppies Amethyst Roman blind shows just how gorgeous a painterly floral can look. Country manor house optional.
