After deciding the kitchen in her seventeen-year-old house was due a makeover, Janet updated the worktops and units but was left stumped when it came to the blind. That was, until she found Web-Blinds…
“The original kitchen had beech-coloured doors and a dull marble-effect worktop,” explains Janet. “We replaced the units and worktop with creams and reds to give it a bright, fresh feel.
“At the window we had dark Wooden blind, which though giving us privacy, blocked-out a large amount of light, and left the kitchen feeling dark and dingy. We had to replace it.
“We looked locally for a replacement but struggled to find what we wanted at a sensible price. We then turned to the internet. We looked at a number of sites but kept going back Web-Blinds. We found exactly what we wanted at a great price.”
Janet loved a red spotty design she found in the Roller blinds range. But she wanted the fabric to roll over the top of the tube rather than behind it. All it took was one quick call to Web-Blinds, and she’d tailored her blind to her exact specifications.
“They were fantastic – very friendly and understood exactly what we were after – and our order arrived within a couple of days,” says Janet.
“My husband tries to avoid DIY where possible – as a five minute job can turn into a day-long project – but even he managed to get the blind up without trauma or bad language!”
The red spotty design looks simply stunning, and really picks up on the high-gloss worktop and accessories Janet chose. It looks like something out of a kitchen showroom!
“It finishes off the kitchen beautifully,” enthuses Janet. “It’s bright and cheerful and gives us privacy while still letting-in a good amount of light. We will certainly use Web-Blinds again in the future.
