Joanne’s spacious, modern four-bedroom home in the Staffordshire moorlands got a full window-dressing update with brand new Roman blinds. Take a look at these beauties.
“We’ve lived here for 15 years,” says Joanne, “so we were looking to gradually update our window dressings. Having one new blind made me want to do the whole house!
“I saw an advert on TV for Web-Blinds and quickly went online to look at the site.”
Impressed by what she saw, the selection got Joanne’s creative juices flowing and she was raring to update her home.
“I’d describe my style as traditional with a modern twist. I wanted to bring the seaside into the main bathroom and fell in love with the seagull fabric. We wanted something modern as we tend to go for plain, traditional styles when it comes to our window dressings.
“I love the way the Bauble Orange blind adds a pop of colour to the landing window. And as the downstairs cloakroom is small, we chose a smaller pattern that still packs a punch and brings in some colour. I’ve matched the blind with accessories such as hand towels.”
So Joanne found three funky fabrics for her rooms – but how did she find the more practical side of things?
“I loved using the website. It was great we could order free samples of the fabrics as this gave us a great idea of what the product would look like in situ. The measuring and fitting videos were a great help and I found both very easy.
“Before we had Roller blinds from a DIY shop that I had cut to size myself – not a good look!”
It’s amazing what a difference a blind can make – and in these gorgeous three spaces, it’s the icing on the cake!
