Conservatories can sometimes become forgotten rooms. Michelle’s stylish orangery is the hub of the home. Take a look at her pretty vintage style.
“We have lived in our three-bedroom semi-detached house in Buckinghamshire for over fifteen years,” says Michelle. “With an expanding family, we needed more living space and to fulfil this need, we decided to replace our old conservatory.
“It was no longer a useable space as the uncontrollable temperatures made it uncomfortable.
“As a family, we enjoy the outdoors and wanted to create a space which brought the outside in – a relaxing room that was usable all year round. With this in mind, we designed our new orangery.
“This was built without a hitch, providing us with the open bright space we craved. But it soon became apparent we needed to be able to control the sun, from both a light and temperature point of view. That’s when we decided to look at blinds.
“We have used Web blinds previously and have always found the choice of colours and styles of blinds vast. This, accompanied with fantastic value, customer service and prompt delivery meant Web Blinds was the obvious choice to solve our new window issue.
“We chose Perfect Fit blinds as these enabled us to still open the twist and tilt windows without the wind rattling and damaging anything when open. They also look like they are part of the frame creating a professional built in look.
“I’m sure my husband won’t take this personally,” laughs Michelle, “but even though he’s not the keenest or most patient of DIYers, he was able to measure, assemble and put the blinds up with no fuss at all.
“We are over the moon with the look, style and quality and have no hesitation in recommending Web-Blinds to friends and family.”
